Codecasa’s distinctly sporty 65m ‘Family Day’...

This steel/aluminium motoryacht is the Viareggio, Italy-based yard's project ‘F71’; her launch party was on April 24.

APRIL 2010

She features a modern rosewood interior conceived by Anna Maria and Franco Della Role. The beam is 11.2m (36ft 8in)
Key features include the bridge-deck dining room, a lift that connects all five decks and an owners’ suite opening balcony.
Her half-load displacement is around 825 tonnes and, thanks to twin 2,448hp 3516B Cats, the maximum speed is 18 knots. The range should be 5,000nm at 12 knots.
She has been built to Lloyd’s and MCA rules.
Final handover is scheduled for June 2010.
As for work in progress, Codecasa has two more launches for 2010. The first of those is launch will be a 46m (150ft) Maria Carla Series motoryacht. Then there’s another 65m (213ft) for delivery in June.
The for 2011 there’s a 50m (164ft) scheduled to complete for mid-2011 and the first Codecasa 42m (138ft) ‘Vintage Series’ motoryacht.
And if that weren’t enough, the operation’s ‘CodecasaDue’ yard in the town is also well into a series of all-weather rescue boats for the Italian Coast Guard.
