Hallbery Rassy’s new flagship 64 takes to the water in a snowy Sweden... The HR64 will get its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf 2011 (January 22-30).

Yard boss Magnus Rassy tells us HR64-001 has just been tested by the yard; it’s the darkest and coldest time of the year up there in Ellos, which is on the west coast of Sweden, and as you can see there’s plenty of snow! He also says the all-new model sails powerfully and is very well balanced.
All essential sailing functions are hydraulically adjusted and push-button controlled from the steering pedestal ‒ mainsheet, vang, backstay and halyard tension.
As with the rest of the range, German Frers was responsible for the design. Her waterline length is 2.23m (7ft 4in) longer than the HR62 that she replaces. The cockpit is unusually large – 3.15m (10ft 4in), which is 55cm (1ft 10in) longer than the 62’s.
She has a hydraulic fold-down bathing platform.
The interior provides 12 choices across five sections, which means 72 different layouts.
Her engine is a six-cylinder 280hp Volvo Penta D6. She has tanks for 1,800L of fuel; 1,300L of water.
