The 81m Feadship ‘Air’ is the first superyacht built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad.

MARCH 2011

Feadship yard Koninklijke De Vries in Aarlsmeer, The Netherlands, has launched ‘YN682’. She is a quad-deck 81m (255ft) full-custom project with a max beam of 12m (40ft). Studio de Voogt handled the naval architecture and exterior styling; Remi Tessier was responsible for the interior design.
Resplendent with unusual ‘Harley Davidson Matt-Black’ hull, she launched in late March.
She is the first superyacht built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad. The engineering of it is said to have been quite a challenge.
Once handed over this summer, MY Air is exclusively available for charter via IYR (International Yacht Register) and the Feadship charter division. No pictures have been released thus far.
