Riva’s new Iseo takes to the water...

Recent Launches

At 27ft she’s the iconic Italian builder’s new range-baby.

JULY 2011

Ferretti Group’s Riva division has revealed its new range-baby to the boating media.
The new Riva Iseo was drawn by Riva regulars Mauro Micheli and Sergio
Beretta and their Officina Italiana Design studio, which as usual worked closely with the Ferretti Group’s in-house AYT and Centro Stile departments. The inspiration for the model is said to have been classic wooden Rivas such as the Ariston and the Florida; as evidenced by all the varnished mahogany throughout the boat.
Depending upon whether she is pushed along by twin 260hp or 340hp Yanmars hooked up to ZT370 sterndrives, or 380hp MerCruisers and Bravo Three X sterndrives, this 8.24m (27ft) day-boat will deliver speeds up to 42 knots. However, a hybrid engine version is also being offered that provides a fully electric ‘zero-emissions’ mode.
The Riva Iseo is also claimed to be the first boat of its kind to be equipped with both ‘infotainment’ and chartplotting capabilities on Apple's iPad platform.
“This new Riva model is a real jewel,” says Alberto Perrone da Zara, Riva’s new sales manager. “We are sure she will be very successful, whether for use as on lakes, rivers or seas. Indeed, we have already received several orders in just a few short weeks.”
The model is also certain to be a popular superyacht tender choice.
The model will be on display at all the key autumn shows, starting with Cannes ’11.
