The British-built Fairlie 55...

Recent Launches

Hull No1 of this wooden ‘Spirit of Tradition’ model is now in-water at Port Hamble, Hampshire. And she is for sale via Ancasta.

The first Paul Spooner-designed Fairlie 55 is close to completion in the UK. She moved out of the company’s Hamble Yacht Services hall on July 28 and now is in-water.
Following mast-stepping, sea trials and visits from potential buyers, she will be transported to the South of France for an official launch at Cannes ‘11, which runs from September 6-11. There she will be available for viewing in Vieux Port. Appointments can be made via Ancasta.
We understand construction of the next Fairlie 55 will begin with the lamination of frames in the next few weeks.
Fairlie’s Spirit of Tradition Series will eventually comprise the Fairlie 55, 66, 78 and 110.
