Recent Launches

This steel/aluminium motoryacht is the first of the Dutch yard’s new 180 Limited Editions series.

APRIL 2012

Amels Holland has launched its first new Limited Editions 180 Series motoryacht Step One. Her sea-trials began on Tuesday, April 4 and subsequently all tests have been completed to the full satisfaction of Lloyds Register and owner’s representative, Moran Yachts & Ship.
MY Step One has a Laura Sessa-conceived interior.
There is a possibility that Step One will take part in the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show in September.
Amels Holland is busier than ever. It has 12 new construction projects and two major refits underway. Its Tim Heywood-styled Limited Editions range presently includes four models from 180-242 (55-74m), 650-1,720GT. The new 650GT 180 Limited Editions design has evolved from the successful 171/177 Limited Editions, which in turn evolved from the earlier 50-52m (164-171ft) 'Tigre d'Or Series'.
Amels has been part of the Dutch family-owned Damen Shipyards Group since 1991. The Damen Shipyards Group specialises in technically sophisticated vessels. With approximately 6,000 employees and 37 shipyards worldwide, it presently builds around 150 vessels a year. The group’s turnover in ‘11 was €1.3 billion, up 10 per cent on the previous year.
