Kaohsiung, Taiwan-based superyacht builder Jade Yachts is working on its biggest new-build to date, a 170ft steel/aluminuium Bandido for a repeat Drettmann client.


The hull of the Espinosa-designed ice-class explorer superyacht will be ready in December according to Memphis Han, vice-president of Jade Yachts.
The Drettmann project is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2011 to her Russian owner, who incidentally bought the first Bandido 90, the claret-hulled boat exhibited at Dusseldorf '07.
The Drettmann's Bandido range now includes the Bandido 66, 75, 90, 148 and 170 models.
