Carlo Cafiero-designed 80m...

Design

This dramatric concept sports some unique design soltuions. The renderings decorated with their modern-art camouflage make quite a statement too.

NOVEMBER 2009

This striking steel/aluminium 80m (262ft) motoryacht design is proposed with twin 1,685kW (2,260hp) Cats that would deliver a 16-knot displacement maximum cruise and a potential range at a more economical speed that would exceed 5,000nm.
She’s got a maximum beam of 16.4m (54ft) and is characterized by an aggressive stretched design with high prow and those aft-deck overhang. The lower deck area aft offers the delights of a large infinity pool, gym, steam-room and ‘platform on the sea’, which interestingly is protected by opaque side-screens.
The heli-deck forward has been designed for an Augusta Grand and there’s apparently room for a hangar beneath it.
We told palatial guest accommodation would be supported by a crew complement of up to 30.
