New Ferretti 720...

Design

Stylistically she develops the more edgy theme of the latest models. The first will launch for spring '11.

NOVEMBER 2010

As usual the creative inputs came from Studio Zuccon International Project, who worked closely with the Ferretti Group’s in-house AYT and Centro Stile departments.
Increasingly the Ferretti Yachts portfolio is being tweaked to appeal to a younger demographic. She has the same rather edgy styling as the latest models; note the forward-sloping arch on the flybridge!
Like the successful Ferretti 731, the 720 has complete separation between living areas and crew quarters. An enclosed galley on the main deck, equipped to meet the requirements of a professional chef, separates the bridge from the main saloon, forming the divide between the crew and the owner and guests. A sliding door, to close off the galley and bridge areas from the saloon, is an option.
The 720’s standard interior is a cool and light; the firdst one will get grey-oak veneers, complemented by subtle leathers and soft furnishings.
There are four guest cabins, all with en suites. The owner’s suite benefits from the huge signature hull windows; and note more than a third of the available space is bathroom.
The crew accommodation at the stern has a twin-berth cabin as standard, plus a utility and laundry area, and the option of a third berth in a single cabin if required.
The Ferretti 720 is offered with a choice of engines: either twin 1,381hp M92 V10 MTUs, which provide a top speed of 31 knots, or the more powerful M93s, which deliver 1,542hp each and a top speed of 33.5 knots.
The Ferretti 720 is due to make its public debut in spring 2011..
