New Mulder 73 Flybridge...

Design

The Dutch yard has just received an order for one from a client in Australia.

JANUARY 2011

The new Mulder 73 Flybridge has a length of 22.30m (73ft) overall and a beam of 6.20m (20ft 4in). This all-aluminium yacht is an entirely new design by Guido de Groot and Ginton Naval Architects. She will be delivered in the second quarter of 2012.
She will be equipped with two 1,150hp Caterpillar C18s and provide a maximum speed of around 22 knots. With a fuel tank capacity of 12,000 litres, her range should be approximately 3,200nm at a speed of nine knots.
The new Mulder 73 Flybridge is Mulder Shipyard’s second project for the Australasia region. In the spring of 2007 the yard delivered a Mulder 76 Flybridge to a client from New Zealand. Despite the recession, the yard has a strong order book that includes eight yachts that have yet to be delivered.
