New Drettmann models on their way...

There’s a 32m all-composite flybridge model and a steel-hulled explorer under development. Both should premiere at either Cannes or Monaco ‘12.

JUNE 2011

Steered by Albert and Claudia Drettmann, Drettmann Yachts is beginning to rebuild its new-build redentials.
Two very different 32m (105ft) models – one all-composite planing flybridge motoryacht and one steel-hulled explorer yacht – are being introduced and both are presently at the pre-engineering phases. One of each will be built on spec over the next 14 months or so. The hope is that both will be shown at the Cannes and/or Monaco 2012 shows.
The fresh modern styling of these two comes from the relatively new Bremen, Germany-based studio, Focus Yacht Design. Both include the beach clubs and balconies.
And beyond that Drettmann Yachts and Focus Yacht Design are also working up several superyacht concepts along similar style lines.

Following its bankruptcy last year, Drettmann Yachts is now part of the newly formed Drettmann-Sunrise Group, which also owns Sunrise Yachts in Antalya, Turkey, and the Moravia yacht sales and service operation in Monaco. Already busy in the brokerage and maintenance sectors, Drettmann Yachts is based at the stunning waterside HQ, showroom and service yard facility that it opened in Bremen, Germany, just prior to the global financial crisis kicking in.
