New 43m for Daewoo...

Design

This is the latest concept for the Korean yard from Italian yacht designer Andrea Borzelli and naval architect/marine engineer Francesco Rogantin.

JULY 2011

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co (DSME) has commissioned Italian yacht designer Andrea Borzelli and naval architect and engineer Francesco Rogantin to develop a new 43m (141ft) steel/aluminium motoryacht concept. It is one of several designs from the pair for the Korean yard. Her exterior lines mix square angles and continuous glass surfaces, which Borzelli says establish a dialogue between outside and in.
Two folding balconies along each side will open up her main saloon.
She is proposed with a four or five guest cabins on her lower deck with crew quarters in the bow and a beach club and garage astern.
