Kingship’s ‘Essence’ concept...

Design

She’s a contemporary 42.5m neo-explorer with a dedicated penthouse-style owners’ deck.

SEPTEMBER 2011

Chinese yard Kingship – which presently employs around 200 people and is close to completing two steel/aluminium projects for early '12, the Kingship 138 'Main-C' and its 'Green Voyager' – has released details of its latest concept, the 42.5m (140ft) 'Essence'. With the bridge on her main deck, this contemporary explorer is notable for a dedicated owners’ upper deck that includes a full-beam master suite, massive picture windows, a sliding sunroof and private forward-facing balcony; at the owners discretion, the aft sundeck can also be private or open to guests.
Proposed with twin C32 Cats, Essence offers a maximum cruising speed of 13.5 knots and at a slower pace a trans-pacific range.
KIngship has signed an exclusive sales agreement with YPI for concept and 75m (246ft) explorer concept called 'Artic Whale'.
