Numarine’s first 78HT takes to the water...

Industry News

Check out these pictures of the Turkish builder's latest 24m (78ft) hardtop motoryacht. Beyond the hard to ignore metallic purple paint job, she's got some unique styling details. For instance, have you ever seen the way the deck moulding opens up at the rail to form an eye-shape like this? It mimics the picture-window shape behind and so allows much better views from the main saloon, not to mention serves as a handrail. In profile it looks a bit like an opera mask. This is a first as far as we're concerned. But if you know different, let us know!

Also note the skylights in the roof.
And the foredeck sun-loungers are good too, although one suspects the forecabin suffers as regards headroom.
The 78HT’s good for a maximum speed of 38 knots and has got some unique styling details... Her useful range is up to 400 nautical miles.
For those wanting to see the model in the ‘flesh’, Numarine has an ‘Open Day’ scheduled in Bodrum over July 2-4, ‘09. The 78HT will be there, along with 78 Fly, 102 RPH and a 55 Fly.
