Codecasa launches the triple-engined 34-knot 41m 'Flying Dagger'...

Industry News

Yard No C119 is the second of the Viareggio, Italy-based yard’s all-aluminium '41S Open' series, which was drawn by Andrea Bacigalupo. She was built for a repeat client, whose previous boat was a ’04-delivered 35m (115ft) Codecasa of the same name.

JUNE 2009

Distinctly sporty for a 41m (135ft), this yacht delivers performance to match her looks. She is pushed along by triple 2,400hp MTUs to a maximum speed of 34 knots.
The interior scheme is the work of Ivana Porfiri. The main saloon, including lounge and dining areas, is wonderfully light and bright thanks to those large side windows, a central skylight and thanks to the predominant interior colour being white.
A key feature is the glass partitioning between bridge and saloon, a sandwich filled with ‘palladio’ leaves.
Her hull is a dark ‘anthracite’ metallic, while her superstructure is a light grey.
The first 41s Open was the ’07 launched Family Day.
Codecasa also has a 45S under construction. That one is sheduled to deliver in time for the 2010 Med-summer season
