Remarkably the fit-out of this 171 took just 11 months from the hull and superstructure arriving at the builder’s North Sea coast facility in Vlissingen to sea-trials. She was built to Lloyd’s requirements.
The yacht is managed by Imperial Yachts of Monaco.
Amels is part of the Holland-heaquartered Damen Shipyards Group, which employs some 8,000 people across 35 sites scattered around the world, delivers around 200 specialized vessels per year, and boats a €1.8 billion turnover.
There are currently nine projects at various stages of construction at Amels; the operation’s order book includes deliveries through to 2013.
