Riva's new 86 Domino...

Industry News

Having launched from Riva's big-boat facility in La Spezia in July, Riva 86 Domino 'Hull No1' was shown for the first time in the second week of September at Cannes '09.

Taking the concepts developed for the 63 Vertigo and 68 Ego Super to the next level, this stunning sports yacht, complete (with small flybridge) features a tremendously light airy main saloon, thanks to a massive windscreen and side windows. And the full beam owners' cabin is one of the best of its kind, opened up by the light from those dramatic hull windows, which incidentally, despite their considerable size, do not detract from the exterior lines, but add to them. They extend across the bedroom and into the ensuite to port and a walk-in wardrobe to starboard.
The furniture makes use of elm and grey durmast, complemented by leathers and lacquers.
She's fast too. She can cruise at a maximum sustainable speed of 34 knots and at third load has reached 38 knots.
Her garage will take a 3.2m (10ft 6in) RIB as well as a PWC.
