Alloy Yachts’ AY39 launches...

Industry News

With an LOA of 58.4m (192ft), the latest Kokomo’s the largest yacht thus far to have launched in New Zealand.

She’s the third Dubois-drawn sloop of the same name to be built by the Auckland yard for Australian billionaire property developer Lang Walker.
Owing to the shallowness of the creek behind the yard, Alloy Yachts has deliver most of its yachts by barge without rudder or keel.
She delivers officially in February.
The previous Kokomo, also a flybridge sloop, had an LOA of 52m (171ft). She delivered in ’06.
And the first sloop was 40.4m (133ft); she delivered in 2000.
