New Benetti Class Delfino...

Industry News

Laminated by contract moulding specialists, the composite hull of this new 27m (90ft) semi-custom model arrived recently for fit-out at one of Azimut-Benetti’s Viareggio facilities. She will be ready to launch in summer of 2010.

The styling team responsible for the model consists of Azimut favourites Stefano Righini (exterior) and Carlo Galeazzi, whose team has developed both modern and classic standard schemes. She’s got plenty of volume on offer thanks to a 7m (23ft) maximum beam.
Benetti used to build Delfino and Super Delfino motoryachts 40 or so years ago. The first one was shown at Genoa ’69. Incidentally Delfino means Dolphin in English.
Benetti’s new Class range consists of seven semi-models ‒ the Tradition 105, Classici 121, Classic Supreme 131, Crystal 140, Vision 145 and Vision Supreme 164 – all of which reflect the same design DNA.
