The 210-tonnes ‘C2180’ was signed at the back end of December, the third new-build to sign during ’09.


Designed by Ron Holland Design and Perini Navi’s in-house team, this 40m (131ft) project will boast high performance with her light weight aluminium hull and superstructure, with displacement optimized at 210 tonnes.
She will have a 50m (164ft) carbon mast and furling boom.
Perini Navi’s order book presently runs to 11 boats – eight Perini Navis and three Picchiotti-Vitruvius projects. They handover between ’10-13.
Besides the 40m (131ft), there’s one 60m (197ft), two 56m (184ft), one 50m (164ft), two 45m (148ft) and one 38m (125ft) sailing yachts and the 50m (164ft), 55m (180ft) and 73m (239ft) motoryachts.
