Groupe Bénéteau sells Rigiflex operation...

Industry News

The builder of rotomoulded tenders, dinghies, river boats and utility craft was acquired by a new group headed by former Jeanneau general manager Didier Greggory, Michel Bolo, and Jean Paul Boisson.

Begun by Jeanneau Yachts founder Henri Jeanneau some 30 years ago, Rigiflex is well-known for its 12 model portfolio – which includes the Aquapêche, Newmatic and Cap – all renown for their durability and stability. Constructed in heavy-duty roto-molded polyethylene, they are popular tenders for yacht owners, as well as finding use with sailing schools, yacht charter organizations and workboat applications.
Didier Greggory certainly has plenty of marine industry experience. Beyond his ’03-09 spell with Jeanneau, he worked with Stardust Marine from ’93-99.
Rigiflex will retain its corporate headquarters close to Nantes Airport.
