Industry News

The Dutch builder just signed a contract for a 47m displacement motoryacht, YN15747. The client is the yard's founder and present chairman, who sold his stake of the company just prior to the financial crisis.

She delivers for 2012.
YN15747 is the eighth yacht in Heesen’s highly successful 47-metre full-displacement series. She will be a sister to YN15147, which is scheduled for delivery in 2010 and YN15347, which is scheduled for delivery in 2011, plus Blind Date (2009), Elandess (2008), Mon Plaisir (2007), Let it Be (2006) and Yalla (2004).
Heesen Yachts has sold four new contracts in the past four months.
Heesen Yachts delivered four motoryachts during ’09: three aluminium-hulled semi-displacement boats - the 44m (144ft) Jems, the 44m (144ft) My Petra, which is presently owned by Frans Heesen, and the 47m (154ft) 4You; plus the steel/ali displacement 47m (154ft) Blind Date.
