She’s the Italian yard’s new flagship model and features a unique service tunnel beneath her lower deck.


The Sanlorenzo 44 Steel is a trideck 499GT ‘navetta’. Her exterior lines display the same DNA as the semi-displacement composite Sanlorenzo SD92 and SD122 models.
A major attraction of this design is her vast Beach Club – a fitness area complete with gym and bathroom – and her garage that’s big enough for a 6m (20ft) tender.
A significant feature of the 44 Steel is the technical space beneath the lower deck; indeed bow and stern are connected via by a ‘technical tunnel’ that accesses all the essential systems – from bowthruster via stabilizer fins and engine-room to stocks rudders – and it is big enough to walk through, which is a quite unique feature for a yacht of this size. It means the yacht’s engineer doesn’t not have to intrude into guest areas to access different areas.
She is powered by two 2,040hp (1,500kW) 3512B Cats (1,500 kW). At 1,600rpm her maximum speed is 17 knots; the cruising speed is 15 knots and the range at a more economical 12 knots will be around 4,000nm.
