Blue Coast 95 on track...

Industry News

She will be finished at the La Ciotat, France-based yard H2X for late summer, which means a rapid 18-month project duration.

APRIL 2010

Designed by Jean-Jacques Coste, the 28.8m (94ft 6in) Blue Coast 95 is on track at the H2X shipyard in La Ciotat, France. It has been just a year since the client pushed the button on the project, but she will be handed over by the end of the summer and in time for an official launch party at Cannes ’10 in mid-September.
Construction began in July 2009 with the modelling of the project by the H2X design and engineering department, and the construction of her two hulls in composite. The two hulls were only assembled in December.
Since the beginning of the year, partitions, systems and the floors have been laid. The interior is currently under construction and the painting of the yacht has begun.
The composite department is currently adding on the superstructure; which is being ‘one‐shot’ infused. This structure has a lamination area of 198m².
She will be one of the biggest cruising catamarans in the world when she launches. She will be a charter boat.
