The Australian motorboat builder says it was the best quarter for 15 months. It sold 36 new boats from Jan 1 to March 31 to a value of A$38 million (€25 million).

Company CEO John Anderson says the result is evidence that the world market is finally over the worst and beginning to grow again.
“Riviera has achieved sales in all major regions including the United States, Europe, and Australasia,” he says.
Riviera offers 20 different models from 11-26m (36-85ft) across four model series: Flybridge, Sport Yacht, Offshore Express and Motor Yachts.
It's present flagship is the Riviera 70 Enclosed Flybridge model, of which five have launched.to date.
Riviera is intending bigger models from 22.3 (73ft) up to 26m (85ft) to be built at a contract partner's yard in Taiwan.
The new 43 Open Flybridge is shown here. It will debut at the 2010 Sydney International Boat Show.
