Sanlorenzo signs agreement with Rodriguez Group...

Industry News

It’s exclusive as regards France and Monaco.

The Italian motoryacht Sanlorenzo ‒ which has two main yards in Ameglia and Viareggio and lamination facilities in Carrara ‒ has signed a commercial agreement with Rodriguez Group, the Cote d’Azur headquartered boat sales operation that also owns brokerage and yacht management company Camper & Nicholsons International.
The agreement commits Rodriguez Group ‒ which up until a couple of years ago had a longstanding exclusivity deals to sell Overmarine’s Mangustas and Cantieri di Arno’s Leopards globally ‒ to sell Sanlorenzos exclusively in the France and Monaco; that’s all six of the 19-33m (62-108ft) Ameglia-built Sanlorenzo SL’ composite motoryacht models and the Viareggio-built composite ‘Sanlorenzo SD92 and SD122’ and the semi-custom/custom-built ‘Sanlorenzo Metal’ superyachts up to 56m (184ft).
The Rodriguez Group also has the rights to sell the Viareggio production, although not exclusively, and pre-owned Sanlorenzos globally.
The Rodriguez Group started positively by placing four orders ‒ two semi-displacement SD 92s for delivery in 2011 and 2012, and two planing 40 Alloys for delivery in 2012.
The deal will see Sanlorenzos exhibited from September by the Rodriguez Group in France and Monaco, which means the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes and the Monaco Yacht Show. And Sanlorenzo will take part in the Rodriguez Group’s annual St Tropez Party, which brings together owners and their boats in the Old Harbour for a two‐night extravanganza.
