During the month of May, London brokerage and yacht management company Watkins Superyachts will be ‘in-store’ at the famous Knightsbridge shop.

Yacht brokerage and management company Watkins Superyachts, which is based in the ‘Gherkin’ tower in the heart of the City of London, has teamed up for with Knightsbridge, London-based Harrods, probably the most famous department store in the world. Throughout the month of May, three of Harrods' window displays will feature yacht models and Watkins promotional materials. And there will also be in-store representation and tailored direct marketing campaigns to Harrods’ client database.
“We wanted to create a virtual Monaco at Harrods,” says Adrian McCourt, Watkins Superyachts’ managing director. “There are many potential charterers and purchasers out there that don't want to travel to yacht shows and would rather meet with our expert team to discuss potential options without jargon or hard selling... Once a relationship is made, clients may rest assured that they will be treated with the professional discretion and receive the optimum level service that is the hallmark of the City of London.”
Harrods director of advertising sales and sponsorship, Guy Cheston says there has been “significant interest” in this initiative.
