Yard number C2227 is the group’s third contract this year; in all the group's six-boat 'sold' order book adds up to €170 million.


The Perini Navi Group has won an order for a new 69m (226ft) ketch. Designed and created by the Perini Navi Group with the help of Philippe Briand, she will be the second-longest of the Perini Navi sailing yacht fleet after clipper Maltese Falcon. Her interior scheme will be a collaborative effort by Perini Navi’s in-house team and the American studio PH Design. She launches in ’15
At the close of 2011 the Perini Navi Group’s order book includes six projects with a combined value of around €170 million; plus the group has invested in the construction of a further 38m (125ft) and 60m (197ft) sailing yacht hulls that can be sold and delivered within the next two years.
The past year has seen the group launch three superyachts - the sailing yacht Fidelis, the 10th yacht in the 56m (184ft) series; of the 55m (180ft) motoryacht Galileo G, the second launching to date of the Picchiotti brand’s Vitruvius series; and of Clan VIII, the fourth yacht in the 45m (148ft) series.
