The new Pershing 82...

Industry News

She replaces the 80 and #1 will launch in the spring.

The first of the new Pershing 82 model will launch for spring 2012. Like the rest of the Pershing motoryacht portfolio, which presently extends from 15-35m (50-115ft), she was co-designed by Fulvio de Simoni’s Italprojects studio and the Ferretti Group’s centralized R&D facility AYT (Advanced Yacht Technologies) and styling department Centro Stile. She slots between the Pershing 74 and 92 and replaces the Pershing 80. Her beam is 5.5m (18ft)
Note the side glazing, much of which opens, the sports-fly and the foredeck terrace.
The standard accommodation option is conventional enough, although there is a three-cabin version that includes a media lounge. The standard version provides four guest cabins – the owners’ is amidships, the VIP is forward and then there are two twins between them.
The galley and crew cabins are located infront of the engine-room.
The new Pershing 82 was developed for twin 2,435hp (1,792kW) MTU 16VM93s and ZF’s Searex SR140S surface-piercing propulsion system that delivers a maximum speed of 45 knots and a cruising speed of 40 knots.
