New MD for Rondal...

Ex-HJB boss Paul Dielemans takes over the reins of Royal Huisman's yacht systems subsidiary.

Paul Dielemans has an impressive background of success as both a sailor and a yachting industry leader. Originally qualified as an engineer, his passion for sailing took him to the Dutch Antilles where he operated as a charter boat captain for three years before setting up his own contracting business there.
During his time in the Caribbean, Dielemans was a highly active racing sailor, competing in many classes of yacht and notably representing the Dutch Antilles in the Laser Class at the Atlanta Olympics. A highly experienced skipper and helmsman, he has also won Antigua Race Week and the Heineken Regatta and continues to be a regular participant at superyacht regattas.
On his return to Europe, Dielemans took up a position that provided a natural link from the sport of sailing to the business of superyachts. He was appointed project manager for the construction and campaign of the Dutch Whitbread RTWR entry Brunel Sunergy – an experience that provided him with both the expertise and the industry network to develop an industry career that has led, through a number of senior roles, most notably as managing director of Dutch superyacht builder HJB (Holland Jachtbouw), to the leadership of Rondal.
