Dutch company Formula Marine is building them for a 67m schooner project at Turkish yard DSV.

NOVEMBER 2010

Dutch spar-builder Formula Marine is working on a commission from Turkish wooden-yacht builder DSV to build wood-skinned carbon booms for a 67m (220ft) three-masted schooner.
Formula Marine has carbon cure autoclaves at both its facilities in Holland and in France, where the Turkish booms are being built. Formula builds spars to exceptional standards for a wide range of yachts from fast race boats such as the Archambault 40 and Ker 39 to superyachts like the DSV schooner.
