Attilio ‘Tilli’ Antonelli has left the company he founded and has managed since it became part of the Ferretti Group a dozen years ago.

Antonelli’s resignation follows an acquisition offer for Pershing SpA that he supportedbeing turned down by the Ferretti Group board. The offer was received on February 3. It reportedly valued the iconic sports-yacht builder at around €100m.
Ferretti Group chairman Norberto Ferretti and recently appointed CEO Salvatore Basile say the offer was rejected because of Pershing’s importance to the restructured group and its strategic plan and the significance of Pershing’s state-of-the-art production facility in Mondolfo.
