Yard Updates

She will be first full-displacement trideck to carry the famous hardtop-express brand.

APRIL 2011

Last week the composite hull and superstructure of the Mangusta 148 Oceano No1 arrived Overmarine’s fit-out facilities in Viareggio. The new model, whose Stefano Righini-drawn lines successfully reflect the family feeling of the large open Mangustas, is the Italian builder’s first displacement-hulled trideck.
Despite the ‘148’ designation, she has an LOA of 151ft (46.00m, a maximum beam of 9.20m (30ft 3in) and a fully loaded draught of 2.35m (7ft 8in).
She will be pushed along by twin MTU 12V4000 M53Rs. Her top speed is expected to be 15 knots. She will cruise at 12 knots and carry up to 74,000 litres of fuel.
This first 148 Oceano was started on spec and is still 'available'.
