Ambitious plans for Tecnomar...

Yard Updates

Many new models and ranges are on their way, says CEO Giovanni Constantino.

MARCH 2011

Since his arrival in January ‘09, the new president and CEO Giovanni Costantino (above) has implemented a massive reorganization of the Massa, near Viareggio, Italy-based yachtbuilder. Model development investment to the tune of €3m is being spent on an assortment of new designs from 60ft (18m) to 60m (197ft).
The aim is for the Tecnomar fleet to include seven planing composite models – the Nadara 45, 38, 30 and 30RPH and the Velvet 42, 36 and 30. Then coming is a range of planing/semi-planing/displacement yachts in aluminium and steel/aluminium – the Regale 42, 42HT, 37 and 33, the Maxima 45 and 37, and the Impero 56 (shown), 45 and 37.
And if that were not enough to be getting on with, there are plans for ‘Tecnosail’ range of composite and alloy sailboats – the Silent 100, 76 and 66.
Founded in 1987, Tecnomar has launched over 270 yachts.
