ISA Refit Division success...

Yard Updates

The Ancona-based yard says it has been very busy over the winter with various larger projects and is seeing all sorts popping in for pitstops and minor repairs now that the summer season has got underway.

JUNE 2011

ISA’s Refit Division has been busy over the winter months, according to Alfonso Postorino, the Ancona, Italy-based yard’s refit and after-sales service manager.
One of its biggest refit projects, he says, of late has been the 38m (125ft) Proteksan-built MY Sea D. She had one of her MTUs extracted through a hole cut in her portside. It was then sent back to Germany for a complete rebuild. And subsequently the engine was re-installed and the gaping wound in her portside made good. She will be relaunched once her Awlgrip ‘Flag Blue’ respray has been completed.
ISA’s Refit Division also manages the ANK’s Marina in fron tof the yard, which is now constantly busy with yachts popping in for anything from a quick pitstop to more complicated maintenance and repair jobs.
