Sealine’s new C48...

Yard Updates

The first one will be at Southampton ’11.

JUNE 2011

Brunswick’s UK motorcruiser builder Sealine is to launch their new C48 Coupe at the 2011 PSP Southampton International Boat Show. This design is being promoted with the phrase ‘turn-key boating’, principally because there are no covers to undo or canopies to unfurl. The helm and saloon are fully enclosed by the signature wraparound screen, while an electric sunroof provides full or partial access to the elements. Sliding doors link the cockpit to the saloon, creating, we told, the largest single social space for a boat of this size.
“We are delighted to be launching the C48 alongside our new SC42, our second new model for 2011,” says Chris O’Connor Sealine’s managing director. Both are important parts of an investment strategy that will deliver eight new boats in just three years...”
The C48 uses the proven hull of the C47 and combines that with Volvo Penta IPS600 pod drives with joystick control.
To give an idea of pricing, the C48 will be priced in the UK from £392,000, excluding VAT.
