Yard Updates

This Australian-built sports-fishing yacht’s home port will be in Spain.

JULY 2011

Coomera, Queensland-based Riviera has just exported its first 70 Enclosed Flybridge for Europe. Her home port will be in Spain.
The model offers a cruise speed of 30 knots and top speed of around 34 knots depending upon engine options and a cruising range of up to 1,000nm.
Since the 70’s official launch in August 2008, Riviera has built and delivered six of its semi-custom flagship 70 model.
“The Riviera 70 is ideally suited for long-range cruising and this boat will have a permanent skipper and be used full-time for six months of the year,” says Paul Wrench, Riviera’s large-boat programme project manager. “The owners of this 70 had the flybridge rear deck extended, which has provided added cockpit protection from the elements and has increased the flybridge entertaining space.
She will be on show at the 50th Barcelona International Boat Show in November.
Riviera offers 20 different models from 11-21m (36-70ft) across four model series Flybridge, Sport Yacht, Offshore Express and Motor Yachts.
