Yard Updates

The huge resin-infused 'No1' hull has been popped from her mould and is now in fit-out.

JULY 2011

In the UK Princess Yachts International has completed the first hull of its new flagship 40M trideck model. It ranks as one of the largest resin-infused structures in the world. The company has been using resin-infusion technology for hulls and major mouldings of several of its newer models over the past few years, not only for performance reasons, but also because of the resulting cleaner working environment.
The 40M is now in full production within a purpose-built hangar at the company’s South Yard site in Plymouth, Devon, where hull three and four of the Princess 32M are also in build.
The first 40M yacht will provide accommodation for up to 12 guests and eight crew. Hull No1 is due for delivery in spring 2012.
