Yard Updates

The Italian builder’s Ameglia plant now has berthing for up to eight 100-footers.

JULY 2011

Thursday, July 14 saw Italian motoryacht builder Sanlorenzo inaugurate at its main Ameglia facility a new yard marina/quay, at which there are now eight berths and an upgraded travel-hoist for yachts up to 30m (100ft). This is an important redevelopment on the banks of the River Magra, which flows in front of the yard that builds the 19-33m (62-108ft) planing-hull ‘SL’ Sanlorenzos.
The occasion coincided with the launch of a new SL72.
President of Sanlorenzo Massimo Perotti (centre in the picture below) welcomed many local authorities to the ceremony: the mayors of Ameglia and Sarzana cities, the representatives of the La Spezia Province, and all the representatives of the local unions.
