Alumarine’s latest Trawler Catamaran…

Yard Updates

She’s an all-ali 65-footer designed by Stirling Design International; delivery is scheduled for late 2012.

French yard Alumarine of Couëron, just outside Nantes, and Nantes-based Stirling Design International (SDI) are cooperating on a 20m (65ft) trawler-catamaran project that the yard hopes to deliver by the end of 2012. She is a development of the SDI-designed 17.7m (58ft) trawler-cat design completed last year.
This latest SDI 65 will combine good sea-keeping, guest comfort, manoeuvrability and low fuel consumption, plus her reduced beam of 5.9m (19ft) should allow her to berth in most marinas without problem.
SDI’s Thibaut Tincelin handled the naval architecture and Joel Bretecher the exterior styling.
