Vitters’ latest order...

Yard Updates

Signed in the spring, she’s the 33.4m Philippe Briand-designed sloop ‘Inoui’; the interior will be by Andrew winch.

Vitters has finally released details of its new order, which was signed in the spring. She is the Philippe Briand-designed ‘Inoui’, a 33.4m (110ft) composite sloop. Currently being laminated at the Dutch builder’s Green Marine division in the UK, the hull will arrive at Vitters facility for fit-out in May 2012.
“Inoui will be eye-catching in so many ways,” says Vitters’ director Louis Hamming. “And with a carbon hull, lift keel, lightweight interior and high-roach main, she is destined to perform extremely well too... We are developing an advanced hydraulic system for her that will ensure maximum capacity and usability of the winches and cylinders. This will allow many functions to be used simultaneously, which should enhance her competitiveness.”
We understand she is being built for the owners of the Royal Huisman-built Gliss.
SY Inoui is scheduled for delivery in May ‘13.
