Great start to the year for Mulder...

Yard Updates

The Dutch yachtbuilder has received two new orders in as many weeks.

The Mulder Shipyard has announced two new orders signed in as many weeks. A Mulder 75 Wheelhouse has been ordered by a UK client, although the boat will actually be berthed in New England, and a Dutch client has signed for a Mulder Favorite 1300 Convertible. Both are all-aluminium designs.
The round-bilged Mulder 75 Wheelhouse (pictured above and below) will be delivered in 2013. Pushed along by twin 715hp Caterpillar C12s, she should be good for a maximum speed of 20 knots.
The Mulder Favorite 1300 Convertible (pictured bottom) will have twin 150hp Volvo D3s and a top speed of 15 knots. She delivers this summer.
Certainly 2012 is shaping up well for the Dutch yard. Beyond other new-build completions, it will also open its all-new second production facility; pouring of concrete floors in the halls and dry-dock begin imminently.
The first yacht to be built at the new yard will be the first new Mulder 98 Flybridge, which is scheduled to complete for summer ‘13.
