Three new-build contracts for ISA in as many months...

Yard Updates

The Ancona yard has sold a 41m, a 54m and a 66m, which will be its biggest-ever project.

FEBRUARY 2012

Ancona, Italy-based yard ISA has signed three new-build displacement motoryacht contracts in recent months – a 41m, 54m and a 66m, which will be its biggest-ever new-build.
The smallest is the 41m Andrea Vallicelli-designed steel/aluminium trideck motoryacht, which has been commissioned by a repeat client. This conservative design is based on the yard’s 39m (128ft) technical platform. She will be pushed along at up to 14 knots by twin C18 Cats. Delivery is for summer ’13.
The 54m custom steel/aluminium project is being referred to as ‘Project Panorama’. Capable of up to 14.5 knots and a trans-Pacific range, the design is by Horacio Bozzo and the interior design is the responsibility of Studio Massari. The deal was enabled by Fernando Nicholson of Camper and Nicholsons International. The design incorporates an owners’ deck that includes balconies, panoramic office and private aft-deck terrace. A glass elevator connects the guest decks. There is a beach club at her stern, made possible because the main garage is forward; incidentally it will be big enough to take a 8.3m (27ft) Riva Iseo and 5.5m (18ft) crew tender. Delivery is scheduled for summer 2014.
The four-deck 16-knot 66m ‘Granturismo’ is also by Andrea Vallicelli and based on the yard’s 65m platform. She delivers for summer 2014 too.
